Boutique Book Society began as Boutique Book Retreats in late 2024, a passion project turned side hustle born from our shared love of books, travel, and community. We wanted to create thoughtful, joy-filled getaways for women who wanted to read, explore, relax, and connect with people who truly get it. As our community quickly grew, so did our ideas.
Today, Boutique Book Society is the next chapter of that dream: a women-led experiential bookish brand creating romance-centered retreats, community events, author experiences, travel content, merch, and curated moments that bring the magic of books into real life.
We started this because we wanted more spaces where readers, especially women, could show up exactly as they are. Boutique Book Society is for the readers who make books part of their lives, friendships, travels, and personalities. We’re here to make all of that feel celebrated!
About Lauren
Lauren is a Los Angeles-based travel and content expert who spent over a decade working in luxury travel and now brings that same love of thoughtful itineraries, beautiful destinations, and unforgettable details to Boutique Book Society.
Her favorite places to read are planes, trains, hotel lobbies, and underneath a cozy duvet after a very full travel day. Romance and fantasy are her top genres, and she has yet to meet an enemies-to-lovers trope that didn’t immediately earn her attention.
About Tiina
Tiina is a Los Angeles-based creative director and graphic designer who’s been creating magic for global brands for over a decade, and now brings that same creative eye to Boutique Book Society.
When she’s not dreaming up new projects, you can usually find her reading at home, on the beach, on the treadmill, or anywhere else she can sneak in a few more pages. She is a romance girlie at heart, but has been known to wander happily into fantasy, dystopian, science fiction, and any story with a world worth getting lost in.
